SCAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Received a call from this number today, automated voice claiming to be from Amazon to confirm a membership fee of 79.99 has been removed from my account! Total FRAUD and SCAM! This number was 1 of many "001312" commencing numbers which have call for this activity!
TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Ai voice stated the call was from hmrc, about a supposed letter from them that was returned, that I'm now facing legal action and press 1 to continue. Hung up at this point

The guy on this number is after your bank account, saying he`s a debt collector and he`s agents are on there way, if you pay him now, he will stop them. Its a scam, hang up, he`s not even convincing.

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. Alarm not going off, and it is for our house so would like to know why they rang in the wee hours when we re sleeping.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!
