He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

Caller said he was from Sky Assurance as our insurance on our TV is about to expire and offered me various deals at various costs to renew. Caller advised his name was "Stylus" and calling from Vodafone about a promotion. Was clearly a scam call highjacking M to Gos phone number.
This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

When I answered their call, they asked who I was!! They then went on to say it was about payments made on an Airplus Corporate Credit card, I don't have one. They then said it was connected to a phone number ending in 2331. After saying that wasn't my number they hung up and I've not been able to get them to answer since.
Using 141 to hide my number I called this number back. They are D2MS a direct marketing company.
