Automated message claiming ro be from Amazon and that Amazon Prime had expired and they were going to take £95.00 from bank. Then it tells you to press 1. Its is definitely a scam.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Now it is not uncommon for Indian companies to buy UK local telephon

I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

Claiming to be from your bank, and somehow knows your name. Some company has likely to have sold your details. Don't answer and report

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. I received a call from an Asian sounding female saying she was from Havering council asking if I need snd housing repairs . Her accent was quite wrong snd when asked to repeat her request she huffed and puffed as if it was annoying her .

SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
