SImilar number to other scam calls had recently where they say they are an energy company-capitlising on the recent news. Said he was an energy something in my area. Yeah right. Like Bournemouth is my area. Guy didnt even stutter when I answered the call as Sperm Bank. Said no thanks and hung up immediately. Blocked the number.

If I were stupid enough to pick up the phone and talk to them, and then daft enough to accept liability for the debt, technically the statute barred status would be lost and technically they could enforce it, but I ain t stupid or daft so tough luck Crap bots, you just wasted your money on buying up an unenforceable

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.

So, I?m guessing it?s only a matter of time before the complaints ratchet up here. Don?t know where they got my number - certainly never asked them to call.
