As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.

This is yet another phone number used by the moneygroup!! They are like a dog with a bone. If you have ever spoken to them for their advice of how to clear your debt in the past (in my case 2+ years ago) but preferred not to follow they advice - they DO NOT leave you alone!! This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it.
