Lengthy call from man with odd accent - maybe African pretending to be American. Said he had $30,000 of bitcoin to send to me from scammers who had used my ID. I don't trust him, found him hard to understand and I eventually hung up. Seemed dodgy to me.
No one spoke when i answered, after a delay there was some background noise like a call center then phone hung up.

Text message supposedly from this number saying "your Apple Pay has been suspended" & directing to a web site (now defunct). Clearly a scam as I do not have Apple Pay or even know what it is!
I have received a call from this number a recorded message claiming to be the HMRC threatening to take action against me. There was an option to stay on the line and speak to an operator. Obviously I didn't. When tried to call back, receiver ended the call back.
Just used Google enhanced search & it’s from China, telling me that they were my bank and that they’d stopped 2 payments from Amazon & an international company and I was to press my phone to acknowledge it. Obviously I didn’t! Checked directly with bank.

Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Cold call insisted there was a problem with our BT Internet, in 20+ years I've never had a BT line or phone number and have nothing from BT. The guy was quite insistant and rude when I told him so.

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
