I asked for 15000 said 84 repayments total repayments around 19000 over 7 yrs wanted 1st month in advance + 524 for tax purposes i paid 624 b4 i went to branch where advised this is a scam i consider myself pretty savvy but i got taken in PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THERE CHARMS i forgot in the heat of the moment " if it seems too good to be true ut usually is f**king scammers beware
I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.
A week ago call claiming to be from talkalk technical support said someone had got in to my computer and there was a problem with my router which needed to be fixed by downloading team viewer ( know what it is) which as it happens I cannot do without a sof
On t.p.s. getting repeated call from this number.With no answer if I pick it up.Can this be stopped?
