Car accident scam - called me yesterday. hanged up as soon as I say I don t drive

I had the same text too to be evicted at 8:30am I laughed at the message straight away but really do feel for the elderly if they received this. Not very nice at all

Called and hung up when I answered. Really annoying!

It s 0371 231 3113 (no zero) as per your other post, and an online search suggests it s Hughes TV and Audio in Suffolk.

Girl with indistinct squeaky voice ... eventually ... poor line but could make out "... accident that was not your fault ..." This came 5 minutes after another "unknown" number that I had just checked on this site and now know know who it was, because I need my tumble dryer fixing before it bursts into flames.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. Had missed call so I called back as a local number to me. Turns out to be AMS Nationwide based in Liverpool area. Sounds fishy. Be wary.

i disabled so hav trouble getting to phone this number keeps ringing ,i pick phone up somebody at other end puts phone down. which so annoying.

Number rang my mobile, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm guessing it's PPI or some other cold calling number.

Same as PW, asked to speak to the owner of the business and claimed our contract with EON was about to expire. We also not with EON
