Had a spate of calls over a month ago. Am ex directory and registered with TPS but still get calls. Tried various tactics ignoring, picking up phone and leaving it w/o answering....they got abusive. Calls now restarted, left to answer machine, interesting messages..may now report to police!

I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Emily, claiming to be IT Support, I think Microsoft was mentioned. Offering to help fix problems with my computer. I played along for a while, got bored & hung up. Rung me back, so I told her I m IT technician, and there s nothing wrong with my PC. She warned me I was wrong, and hung up.

Asian man, from Switch and Save asked for my other half to reduce the phone and broadband costs! Yeah right!Hung up when I challenged him and called him a scammer!Idiots!
