Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. Caller identified himself as Reid from Reactive Media. Said he was calling about an overpayment on a (non-existent) loan between two arbitrary dates. When asked for details he couldn t give any and when pushed further he hung up.

Got a text from this number proclaiming to be Lloyds telling me I’d paired a device with them today. I haven’t done anything of the sort but the text wants me to clink on a link if “ this wasn’t you!”. I’ve decided not to click the link as I think this is spam and fraudulent.

Started getting calls beginning of March, normally between 2-3 in afternoon. Somtimes twice a day in a week. Ignore every time rings off quick. Hopefully will stop soon, but in any case I m changing my number soon anyway
