Tried to pretend he was from Telephone Preference Service. But when I asked for clarification of the difference between TPS and the company he represented rang off immediately. Will this deter him? I very much doubt it. This was the second call of this type today.

Rang to arrange appointment for repair to my tumble dryer. Quick, straight forward, efficient and no sell.

Called pretending to be a legit contractor - told them we are with TPS and that they lied to my colleague - asked they remove us from whatever dodgy list we appear on - they are rude and aggressive.

I got a call from this number. Dropped it and called back 5 minutes later and got a recorded out of office message. Feels like a scammer.
