Telecomms company saying our Director has requested a call from them - not true - they keep trying but they will never get through

I have a trueCall installed for my mother best investment ever!!! She has had 41 calls from this number since July. Coincidently, or possibly not, this number started calling after she replied to an advert in the local paper for a free hearing aid. Since replying to the advert here unsolicited calls have gone up from 40 to 80 a month. All blocked fortunately. Out of interest I dialled the number and got an American female voice saying this number is not in service. If anyone gets a call from this number o

As soon as you answer, the caller shuts down so what is the point of them calling. nuisance value or to check whether you are in.No idea but these nerds are a menace to everyone.

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. somebody who works for the phone company told me they purposely have setup computers to automatically call peoples houses and then hang up. they said it makes the phone company profit by people simply answering and hanging up due to the lines being used. its a timewasting tactic. simply ignore it

I rang this number back its 1st call group. Did google search, it's a PPI selling group. Looks dodgy. The times they call are not normal business hours.

Warranty Direct- endless phone calls at all hours including well into the evening. Ringing them back leads to endless auto prompts- none of which offer Don t phone any more - its all about sales. So never use the on line quotation form- prices grossly excessive and they won t give up harassing you once they have your number. They always cut off as soon as they hear an answer phone.

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.
