Call from sky (obviously it wasn t them) telling me I was using a Sky Dish, asking my age etc and then hung up - Odd seeing as Sky is in my partners name and not mine. Obvious phishing expedition.

If it's been searched several times its probably spam callers.

Assumed this was cold calling from Manchester area, on one picked up when I answered.

They hanged up straight after I answered. I suspect it is from the same time wasters I had earlier today, a debt helper or whatever they call it company. Obvious scam as usual

If you have a call blocker phone, just block the number. They ll still call but it won t ring and disturb your day (or temper!).

When answered they asked for me by name then they hung up.

Called today at approx mid day ,yet another call to block via BT 1572.

They rang me, left an 8 second voicemail with no sound on it. Proceeded to text the number but it wouldn t send, and I can t call the number either.

Would appear to be a scam call, trying to suggest I was making an international payment

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

01482596113 is apparently a funeral plan sales call. They got my number from an illegal downloading site. I wonder why they use such a site for marketing purposes. Don t they know that they could be prosecuted for aid & abetting fraud, theft & money laundering?
