The number looked suspicious, and an on line search suggested that it was a scam call judging by the frequency with which the first 5 digits were used. I did not answer.

Called 0922 on Sunday am. Number not in my book. Blocked.

indian guy called today saying he was windows support, said my dad is the registered user of windows, (my dad has never used a pc in his life, had dementia and now is dead) when told to the so called windows guy, he just kept reading from the script, do not give any info to them, its a scam and they will do anything to get your money.

Talks about a recent accident (haven t had one), asking for feedback on the service. Don t answer, even to ask them to remove your name from the database as they won t do that for you.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

British Gas. calling me for months. First from Manchester. Got apology. then it starts again. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BRITISH GAS. I have had at least 5 calls from this number in 2 days with reference to a tax refund I am supposed to pick up from the post office ...... Foreign sounding caller who knew my name claims to be calling from London. I gave up at that point.

Never answer these jokers They are a real pain!
