Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. This is a scam number. pretending to be from the HMRC stating that fraud has been committed under your name and that if you don't press 1 a warrant will be issued to arrest you. This is a scam do not press 1 or engage with them and absolutley do not share any of your bank details or make any payments. Just block the number on your phone and share the knowledge of this scam with your friends and family.
