Caller to our TPS registered number wrongly claiming to be "your current energy supplier". Attempted to tell me I was wrong when I told him that they weren t our supplier, and demanded to know if I was "the manager", and then attempted a line of stammering bullshit when I asked him to prove his credentials by quoting me the account number and the name of the account holder. A complete, lying, shyster who got himself told to sod off, in fairly short order.
Another call from 0121 285 9455 even though I am on TPS and the Do Not Call Registry. These people are obviously not checking these lists. They are a nuisance.

Called about any accidents I'd had in the past couple of years.
Text message saying "hi" and nothing else. Appeared to be trawling for responses.
Caller claimed to be from a government department in reference to an accident 18 months ago, and persisted even when I said our number was registered with the TPS. Fairly threatening, saying that if I didn t cooperate my son might be in trouble because his file would remain open .
Automated message stating they have been trying to contact and the internet will be cut off within 24hrs. nPress 1 to connect to the "executive" n(Call ignored)

I had one called ruby (again indian sounding), my washing machine warranty was ending, let her go through all the spiel re cost etc, after shed finished I said I will take the highest cost one, but on one condition... tada, drum roll..... she tell e her real indian name and where in india she was based.. but, but, but lol,,, then as she kept speaking, i kept talking over her asking her indian name and where in india she was based and that it was a scam. she then told me to shut up then hung up on me :(
Annoyingly you have to answer the phone to add it to your BT black list so i only answered and hung up straight away. i dont know why they bother and i hope they rot it hell.

My TRUECALL device received a call from 01924215367 today. Its operating system would have asked who is calling before asking me whether I wished to accept the call. The caller did not respond and my phone did not ring. I installed this device because I have been a victim of miss-selling and fraud crime. The product is endorsed by BT. SCAM - call regarding investment opportunities I had signed up for via a website. Except I have never given out my mobile number as it is only used as a emergency number for my elderly parents ( who don’t have internet connection) requested that the number is removed from their system.
