Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Keeps on calling me even though I m not answering. No voicemail left. I answered once and could hear noise like a call centre. It s really annoying now and I blocked but they phoned from another number which is similar with just digits at the end different.

These are debt collection agents they work for HMRC and are relentless threatening and pushy.
