SPAM only because I didn't answer & no vmail left which is always obvious ???? Recd numerous calls in Nov 2022 from Manchester area.. Blocked and reported.
I am getting regular calls from this number and usually when I m at work and unable to answer. No message is ever left. One of my colleagues tells me it s marketing and connected with home broadband. It s becoming a nuisance now.

An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

A woman called Lauren called at 8.30 am to say that a lot of households in our neighbourhood had been receiving unwanted and nuisance calls. I asked if she was one of them and she said that her company, DDC (D Delta Complaints – or having looked at other comments, maybe it was Data Compliance) was going to put us on a more restrictive and safer system to block the fraudsters. I asked for her number and she said 0292 000 8716 but when I did 1471 it was 0208 312 0993.

I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . I know only too well that this is a scam so have no intention of accepting anything from them. To date the longest I have managed to keep one of these scum on the phone is

"Hannah", asking me to confirm if I d been in an accident that wasn t my fault, as her records said I had. Pressed her for where the report came from and she eventually answered with something I can t remember. Continually pressed "her" for the name of the person she was trying to reach, but just kept asking the same question. Eventually I told her no accident and she said my details would be removed from the list.
