Accident injury.... Usual scam patter

I did not reach the phone before my machine kicked in but as soon as my message started the phone call was ended. I do not know anyone in this area but I do know that the scammers are now able to link on to UK landlines to fool you into thinking it is from a UK number. Yesterday I had a similar call from a number about 15 miles from home but when I picked it up there was the usual call centre pause. When I tried ringing back there was no reply.

Getting calls from this number and another from Sheffield 01143493955. Blocked them but still call about six seven times a day. Call when I m in work so just answer and put phone in my pocket as work in noisy warehouse. Usually hang up quite quickly.

Caller claimed to be from domestic and general, in regard to the cover on my washing machine was due to expire. Pointed out that this was not the case and hung up. Scammers!

Yes, they just keep ringing; I now don't bother to pick up the phone when I see the number, but when I have picked it up they clearly don't know who they are ringing, ...

Scam caller, said they were from open reach and said my router had been hacked. Asked them to give my password and they hung up. Asian women.
