Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. He said " can I speak to the owner of the business?" Puzzled, I said " business?" At which point he rudely disconnected the call. Scam very irritating and offensive

Lots of background noise then somebody eventually said Hello then hung up. Did a search on the number and it has been reported on several sites for pretending to be various energy companies.

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Number called me and asked me to confirm personal details, which they clearly had. Asked me random questions regarding whether I owned a dog, how much I earned etc, but when I told him I wasn t going to continue to answer his questions and put the phone down, he immediately called back. Phoned on several occasions and I still don t understand what the call is about. Very aggressive manner.

Yet another call from this number no body answered when answered call.

Called me today claiming to be from Sky. He said my account would be suspended for 60 days because some lady called Angelina had tried to hack into my sky account. Got very aggressive when I told him I would not be logging onto my computer and then hung up on me.

Didn t answer.

The man pretended to be a police officer, saying that the database is updated. I called the local police and they said that this was a scam.

If you get a call from this number it is NOT HSBC it is a scam. Do NOT give out any information.
