this shows as an International number but when you try call the number back "The number you have called cannot be recognised." Usually this call is to say that you owe Amazon money or your order from Amazon has been taken out of your account!!!

So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. These numbers from 2800-2900 are a call centre acting on behalf of various companies chasing accounts, as soon as you confirm your details they hang up and pass the info to the company you owe and then the company harass you as they know its your number

Had 11 calls yesterday and so far 6 today most calls are silent or just beep and the say goodbye. 1 of the calls I had there was somebody at the other end who said they were from the TPS and wanted to know if I was still getting unwanted calls and I asked what like this one and put phone down but they still persist in phoning sometimes 3 times in the space of 20 minutes

Returned call from this number however when calling back it won’t receive incoming calls. Use 01642 850850 which takes you to an automated switchboard then you request the person or department or ask for switchboard to speak to a human operator.
This number is genuine and no problem should be associated with it.
