Just had call from them. Again hung up when I answered. So tempted to do the same to them repeatedly and therefore block their line in.

SCAM / SPAM This must be a scammer as I had to go to voicemail to find out who it was and it is someone claiming to be from HMRC and asking me to press number keys for more information. This would most likely divert me to another number and leave me open to some kind of fraud. Number now blocked. If it really is HMRC they have my address and email address.
Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.
Unable to comment as your site does not tell me who the caller was. Further, you have not contacted me to confirm my registration. Poor service.

SCAM, he pretends to have a contract that is based in Turkey and then needs money for transporting of goods as clearance cost more than he thought. He pretends to want to come visit you in your country but never arrives
They said they were from BT. They said the was a problem with my internet speed. They wanted me to sign on to my pc. At that point I cut the call.

Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative... Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.

Was called from this number which sounded automated asking about "involvement in car accident where you were not at fault" .. I don t even have a car! Seemed very suspicious.
I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Caller was a scouse female.
