I was interrupted by the same people calling again with their recorded message, telling me someone was waiting to speak to me. They can carry on waiting. After identifying this as another nuisance call - the second today - I hung up.
Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Also 0844 3585862. It s an automated messing service. We had a message from the local dentist saying we had an upcoming appointment. In our case it was genuine. We ve had such messages before. However, the company sending the messages doesn t seem to be choosy about who else pays them. Call wasn t wanted or needed. Similar comment put on that number as well.

AVOID...

I have found out that they would call you by reverse charges and drain your mobile credit or boost your phone charges!!! I will ignore their calls from now on and will never answer them. the Ba****ds!!!!!

A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.

We, the public, the people who pay a phone company serious money every month only to be pestered , and for some actually stolen from , have got to learn how to do more , and I mean more , than just close the gate each time the horse bolts. The phone companies we pay our money to don't do nearly enough to deal with this filthy virus that is growing at a seriously dangerous rate. Reporting the numbers that try to rob us isn't nearly enough. Anything we do isn't enough. we need more info and control.
