I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. They want you to download a program so they can take over yours computer, by luring with you earned a lot of money so they "just" verify you, you are, and it can absolutely not be done in other ways, such as driver's license or passports, even though the company they say they call from, and writes on their website that, THEY WILL NEVER CALL AND VERIFY PEOPLE

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.
