I've had a number of these unsolicited 01213 14NNNN where the last four digits vary. Now blocking them.
Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
They said they are from vodafone, I have asked them few questions to confirm if they really have access to my account and it s not legit, it s a scam people.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Aggressive call left a message. Computerised voice saying it was extremeley time sensitive abd if i didnt call sarah wilson back i better get ready for action. I was also told to get a solicitor asap.looked on this site and another victim said they called hmrc and its not a call from them.
Mistakenly answered - it simply clicked off - presumably adding our number to endless harrassers' databases. Luckily, another call I'd missed is also now continually dialling dailly (despite answering), so I can safely (once more) ignore them all. I remember when the phone used to be a means of communication, rather than intrusion - targeting the most vulnerable. This one's probably dangerous.

SCAM Recorded message that Fraud is committed on your credit card. I pressed 2 to speak to them. I then purposefully tricked them by saying "Is that HSBC?".... "Yes sir", he replied, "HSBC Visa services".... "Oh good" I said, "I don't have any HSBC accounts. Now fuck off and stop stealing".
