Fraud Again wants bank details

SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. SPAM Called themselves 'Confirm My Policy' offering to sell life insurance. Claimed to work with big name insurers but no evidence of their existence online.

SCAM He goes like: "Sir, I'm calling from your sim card provider" offering some discount on god knows what. Had to ask him 3 times which company is he calling from, to then try his luck with O2. It became very apparent that it's a scam

Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

Guy contacted me on Grinder - a gay dating app; and pushes you to register in a shady crypto website. He is very insistent, for days, sending messages, etc. I checked the reputation of the site he was recommending: coinup, and realized it was a scam.

First the person calling me call me by my nickname instead of my full name which is already strange And then he attempted to say something about the financial markets but I hanged up immediately Do not answer this number

This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.
