AMAZON Authentic-sounding, recorded woman's voice claimed to be from "Amazon" advising that membership fee had been deducted from my account and gave me two options to press for follow up. Sounded suspicious so I just hung up. I called 0471 which gave me the number recorded here and then said: "Please hang up".

They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. Fraud, some number from London called me claiming there was a warrant out for me for tax evasion. Which for a first point, pretty much isn't possible as I'm employed with a large company who do my taxes for me. This is the UK after all, I don't do that myself. And second, after I gave my name I asked what organisation it was that was calling me before I'd be willing to continue and they just hung up on me.

SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel).
