Missed 5 calls from this today. Ringing late in the evening to catch people at home no doubt.

I have most calls blocked, but this one slips through the net, I have call identify on my phone so don t answer, wretched nuisance, but hey, welcome to the New World Folks!.

rang me on my mobile told me my name, stated he was from an unaudiable ins company. Told me my address AND car registration No. Said I ahd been in an accident and was earmarked £1000. I told him I had not been in accident, asked who he was and his company, he hung up.

The male caller said he was a help line and ringing about my computer. I told him I had no problem with my computer and hung up.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. person who phoned could not speak english good so i had to ask what he was saying he said from c.a.b. and i owed money so i asked for ref number and name of company he then said something i nit understand so asked him to repeat it he said listen you fucking moron. so i said your the arsehole calling me for some scam. he hung up lol

Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

Called threetimes in one day, did not recognise number so eventually barred it on my phone. My guess it is a scam or selling call.

It IS Sky and if you ask them they will openly state they got your number from a third party. IE, they bought it. Have you done a survey of ANY kind? If so that is how your number is passed to them. They will apologise and remove your number from their database if you request it.
