Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

SCAM / SPAM HMRC calling for a fraud under my name. A recorded voice says ''you HAVE to press 1'' to speak with an operator. I didn't press 1 but I assume it's scam because it's not the first time I received a call like this.
SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. SCAM CALLER they say they are calling from your internet supplier and ask you to download a new programme - ask them to tell you YOUR name if they are calling from your provider they will know your name as their customer. They have called me three times now (once at 7am this morning!) they said I'm calling from your technical team as you are having issues with your internet - just follow my instructions and ....
Empty call yesterday - prob checking to see if my number is valid. Have received a couple of scam text msgs today.
I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.
