An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

Got a call from this number stating that it is an investment company and they had my details (phone number, full names and surname, an investment account number, and my credit card number. They claimed I had a small balance with them and they wanted to refund it to me, I said I have no knowledge of an account or refund due. They then said i would get an sms from my bank and i should read them the authorisation number and I will get the refund. An sms did come through and when I looked closer it was a messag

SCAM Claim to be from the National insurance department. Tell you that your info has flagged up on their system and that you have multiple arrest warrants against you. They try to scare you into giving all of your personal information to them. Hang up and block the number!
