I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Fraud saying they were a national investigation/security agency and my national insurance number was suspended because of suspected illegal activity at which point I hung up because that kind of thing doesn't happen especially from a mobile number. If I went on I would suspect they would ask for private secure details to sort it out.

SCAM Called today around 1.15 pm, supposedly about our Sky Internet connection. I asked for his name (Sam) and where he was located (he carried on asking about our broadband connection). I asked him where he was located again to which he replied, "Oh f**k you!" and he put the phone down.

SCAM / SPAM Long pause at the start to begin the recording, then very dodgy sounding HMRC call, you have a fraud case open in your name, press 1 to connect to advisor, not pressing 1 will trigger an arrest warrant! Note to the spammers, at least make it sound real when you play the message!
