Called about a job I'd applied for

Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.

Supposed advice re debt (which I haven t any)

He is an awful man, Akram Arebi, convicted for poaching and attacking a woman and he had others having restraining orders against him. He is a dangerous man

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

Claimed to be from the Regional Crime agency. Widely reported con.

Wanted to update my water company details. Foreign voice - couldn t understand properly.

Rang about an accident. My phone is already registered and I stopped receiving any calls, however I did have an accident nearly three years ago, in the last few months I have been getting these calls. Apparently my details are available on an insurance database available to these companies. I simply ranted down the phone that they were breaking the law as my phone is registerd against these calls, have taken the details, will be suing for harrasment and reporting, then put the phone down. always feel bett

Telepest. People from India claiming to do election research on behalf of something called NQR, and they keep ringing repeatedly - probably a scam that starts by pretending to be a survey. They keep ringing even if you tell them not to.

Nuisance caller. Swore down the phone at me and hung up. Phoned the next day and hung up.

The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
