SCAM -07833 168742 – Received text message Tuesday 2/2/2021 to mobile with restricted communication, alleging to be from PayPal claiming the account was to be restricted. Furthermore one has had immense difficulty in logging in and being repeatedly thrown out. This appears to be the precursor to being hacked, even though there was no response by me. Fraud Pretending to be HSBC. Knows name of recipient and informs them £600 is being transferred from your account overseas. Caller then tries to obtain your telephone banking security number by asking for the first "four" digits. This is followed by them saying it's not correct and wanting the last four digits. They then have your name, telephone number and security number and can empty your bank account

I ve left a comment as they are now seemingly going from "National Utilities" to "Concept Industries". I ve been called by this number and others today regarding a recent tenancy change at my premises. I ve owned and lived in the property for 7 years! Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.

This is a loan broker - They actually did leave me a message which I appreciated. And I did make an enquiry about a loan so I have no issue with the way this company works. I didn t speak to them, just ignored the call as usual but listened to the message and the person didn t really sound like a blood thirsty sales man. Interestingly since making the enquiry - I have received well over 50 calls and this is the first to leave a message and the number was not unknown when they called.
