A lady (she was no lady) called me today (19/04/18) saying my tariff was about to go out of contract and had I received the new contract, which of course I hadn't. She didn't give me her name or the company she was representing. I ended the call, she then rang me back and left me the most rude message, it was so rude it was laughable. Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan. Only problem is the people who phoned me were Indian speaking and said they were from UK Benefits, PHYSHING for information in pretense of dong a survey, the information of which they then sell on to other companies and you end up getting bombarded with other unwanted calls.

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2071934xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with robocalls, classical insurance marketing - "have you been in a car accident", mostly something called Sky Expert Guidance team. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
