I used to live in the 01375 dialling code area but moved away over 2 years ago over 200 miles away! but this number has rung 3 times and I am ex-directory and on the TPS list but they have managed to ring me.

Oh dear I m not the only one. had £79.99 taken from my account today. I am unemployed at the moment and the promise of a £20.00 fuel voucher for answering a survey was very attractive. What can be done? has anyone managed to get their money back?

Very persistent if they don t get a response. Try to call at all times of the day,evening and weekends. Either block the number, or answer to get rid of them. If you don t the phone will keep ringing. I have a truecall unit (from www truecall. co uk) so these harrassers simply get a messsage not to call again. Shouldnt have to pay money to stop these calls though in my opinion.

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them. I ve been getting constant calls from this number which have gone "dead" when I pick up for weeks. Yesterday they finally told me they were from Vodaphone and my number was one of their numbers so they needed it back. They needed to move me to their contract. When I said it had never been a Vodaphone number they then said would anyone else I know be interested!
