You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
