They called me a couple of times saying, we got information that you have outstanding depts, is that correct? I said no, and the first couple of times, they apologised, but today, just a couple of minutes ago, the guy that I was just speaking to was just a complete A hole, he bloody hung up on me without any explanation. I have never been in dept nor I never want any help from any dept lenders.

Sounds like a phishing cost trap to me. Not that I m going to call to find out.

Latest scam number to hit my phone. Never ending.

Just had a call from this number possibly a Muslim woman telling me my computer is throwing up errors. Obviously a scam and told her where to go.

Had a miss call from this company i rang the number and i got an answer service saying they where calling about a possible PPI claim, I think they are called Crookshak and Green.

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). CLC timeshare company called me advising I had won a holiday. Despite telling them I d researched their company on the Internet, & read hundreds of negative reviews, & I am not interested. They keep calling.....also rude when I said thanks but not interested.

Missed a call from them, called back and a robot asked me if i want them to remove my number. Weird

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. They must be pestering thousands in this way for their own selfish gain. I will breathe a sigh of relief when they are prosecuted.

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names.
