Pre recorded ppi mis-selling scam.

Rang me at 7pm saying they were from cancers research asking if it was a good time to talk I said no I m about to have dinner and then they said they ll call another time and didn t close the call they just hung up. They knew my full name so most likely legit just incredibly rude.

Rang once then stopped, assumed it was scam and this site confirms it.

Called 3 times today (14/02/18), I have no idea who this is and have not been in a position to answer and find out. They have not left a message.

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. Called me to discuss Boiler Cover. I refused to say who my Boiler was covered with. They put the phone down.

Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

Daily calls for a week. I finally answered it to find it was an energy company trying to get me to switch. After 14 mins on phone I told the bloke I wasn t interested and needed to end the call. The bloke then became very rude and I ended up hanging up on him. Very poor customer service.

Any ideas how to stop these calls. I just put the phone down
