Spam - Accident claims

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T

This is a new number for Utilita, which has been using different numbers to market energy provision aggressively. Elsewhere, on different numbers, this company has generated a lot of complaints. So, I?m guessing it?s only a matter of time before the complaints ratchet up here. Don?t know where they got my number - certainly never asked them to call.

Missed the call so did 1471. Was told the number does not exist. Double checked and got told "this number does not exist" Not the first time I ve had this type of call...still don t understand how I get calls from a number that doesn t exist!

Just received the fourth call from this number even though I asked to be taken off their list. They are a pain. They offer servicing for Dyson cleaners which will no doubt result in you needing costly and unnecessary other spare parts.

Company called my ADHD sons mobile whilst I was out and he answered loads of health questions, including his age and his address. Shouldn t be allowed. He now knows not to even answer his phone unless he knows the number. Annoyed at this.

Telepest. People from India claiming to do election research on behalf of something called NQR, and they keep ringing repeatedly - probably a scam that starts by pretending to be a survey. They keep ringing even if you tell them not to.
