This is a Credit / Debit Card Protection Insurer number, cost me about 20 pence a minute, rang to cancel policy but had high call volume, so wrote by letter and last Direct Debit refunded.
I received a call from an unintelligible lady, wanting to know about my health regime. Marketing for sure. I said please don t call any more times this week and kindly hung up and. Here s hoping.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. SCAM This was an automated scam recorded call informing me that there was a problem with my BT connection and the line was going to be discontinued. A completely manipulative recorded message to get the recipient to press ''1'' and then be speaking directly with the criminals involved in this original cold call.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. just got a call from this number. the man on the other line - someone name john something - said he was calling from "Allied Interstate" about an unpaid debt. I said that he must be mistaken as I don t have any debt. He said "we will see" and asked for personal information. I hung up. Obviously not trustworthy!

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.
