Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. It IS Sky and if you ask them they will openly state they got your number from a third party. IE, they bought it. Have you done a survey of ANY kind? If so that is how your number is passed to them. They will apologise and remove your number from their database if you request it.
