Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Sales call Fraud Said she was from the Energy Savings Team who would visit the house and assess for reducing heating bills etc. She refused to give a company name and when I insisted she hung up. I subscribe to TPS but this doesn't seem to have any effect on the spam/fraud calls I get...

Fraud - most likely. Call from this number, no one on the other end but could hear a load of foreign voices talking about investments - avoid.

According to person on other end of call, they were calling with regard to the problems I had logged with the local housing officer. I had done no such thing so this is obviously a scam call

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. THIS was an automated call supposedly from visa debit department. As I do not accept normally get calls directly from visa I assume this was either a spam or scam call and put the phone down

SCAM - the call looked like a normal mobile number. A pre-recorded message talks of a fraud against HMRC and an arrest warrant being issued - press button 1 or 2 Etc. I hung up - a complete scam, either attempting to get a premium rate return call or personal information.
