I received a call from this number last night. When I answered they hung up. They have just tried to call me again. I didn t answer but then called the number back and was greeted by a recorded message with an American accent asking me not to hang up because my call is very important to them . It's a home appliance insurance scam. They called my elderly mother and tried to make her think it was her existing insurance company but it's actually a fak-ish looking company called J&L Home Assist. They tried to get my mum to hand over her bank details and persisted even when she said she wasn't comfortable doing that. A bit of investigation reveals that there are a number of similar fake companies doing the same thing, all claiming to be in the Bournemouth area.
