Please stop saying this is a scam, it is NOT A SCAM. This is Nationwide's genuine calling number. They call early in the morning and late at night in order to catch people outside of work hours. If you actually think it's a scam, you ask them for their employee ID and their name, then you call your bank on their normal customer service number and you confirm the person's details PLUS the phone number they called from. called and said router was having problems and would offer £200 as compensation. then when did the bank transfer they made a 'mistake' and transferred £2,000. as a gesture of goodwill they would only ask for £700 back. this was transferred by Moneygram (I know - caught my partner when unwell and not thinking straight). also took over my laptop and remotely accessed who knows what. SCAM. Talktalk will never call you. don't tell the scammers anything. Police and Talktalk aware.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
