Usual thing - one quick part-ring then disconnect. The idea being to get you to ring high-cost number back. Don t - no reputable caller with something worth saying would call you from (or appearing to be from) an 0843 number.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.

the caller wanted me to do a survey about my energy usage. He had my name right but the address he had on file was of my student accommodation which happened to have bills included and I haven t lived there since 2010. He asked for my current address but there was no way I was going to tell him.

Asian voice very hard to understand wanting bank details etc

When phoned back does not even ring, line just goes dead, so not a genuine caller. I would suggest you do not answer any calls from this number.

Be ware of Company ‘’ Internet Media Experts’’ is claiming that they have made a contract with NHS trust for promotions of local services by advertising them through NHS intranet. I also fell prey to this company and never received any customer from them. Despite my repeated request to them for cancellation of contract the never cancelled and kept on deducting the money off my account. Received a Viber message - not one of my contacts and know noone in the code area. Didn't open message because suspicious.

Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.
