Called both my landline and my mobile on a Sunday evening. Clearly a Birmingham number. I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. I understand the Uni says it wants to improve the lot of students but given the vast fees students have to pay that really do not equate to what they are provided with, I think it's a joke, not to say insulting, chasing alumni for money in this devious manner. SCAM most likely sent me a message about how there was a new device being registered to my bank except I don't have an account at that bank. And they gave me a link to a different website from the bank's official website.
Keep getting calls from this number but phone on silent and keep missing them.
