Its a call centre which is why it seems to be so many different customers, don't answer could be anything from a utility company to a phone to PPI...

Scam call saying it's on their system that I may have been involved in incident. Very poorly spoken, could not get name of company, but she'll take me off their system...

Asked for a name that was not mine. Then said my number had asked for details of doing the lottery. Told them i hadn't and hung up.

I had calls from this code in the past asking to do survey and also PPI. Now I recognise the code is from Manchester area and I just Ignore it.

getting called every day from this number and 02920822695. other websites suggest they are trying to con people out of their credit card details.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I get at least 1 or 2 missed calls from this No. a day.. I am a Vodafone customer but I haven t actually managed to answer the call so I am not sure if it is Vodafone as per the other comments. I wouldn t call back as I have heard of many scams where they charge you LOADS to return the call for 2 secs of call time. If it was that important the person would leave a message or write to you in the mail. As far as I am concerned we are not missing out on anything here by not answering the calls.

This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!!
