Called out of the blue by this number and voicemail left claiming supposedly that legal actions are to be taken against me shortly, press 1 to speak to someone. Called the number back and it doesn't accept incoming calls. on the face of it, appears to be a total scam.

This number 01223933798 is a scam call that says your bank account and amazon account has had two attacks this morning? press two to talk to an advisor. An Asian gentleman answered I told him to go fourth and multiple.
No answer, and after looking on here I blocked it.
He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. I reived three calls from this number but nobody was talking from the other side mean three silent calls this morning. Really annoying especially Monday morning in the office.
The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls sniffing out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else, then the line will be logged as 'a VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back later by some con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number calling you, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scammed!
Second time in a couple of weeks approx this number has called and left voicemail msges...in Chinese! Then follows an option to press different numbers to choose English or Chinese . Needless to say I deleted!

Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

Just used Google enhanced search & it’s from China, telling me that they were my bank and that they’d stopped 2 payments from Amazon & an international company and I was to press my phone to acknowledge it. Obviously I didn’t! Checked directly with bank.
