Missed the call so did 1471. Was told the number does not exist. Double checked and got told "this number does not exist" Not the first time I ve had this type of call...still don t understand how I get calls from a number that doesn t exist!

SCAM/HMRC: You get a rather scary recorded message saying this call is from HMRC and if you don't press one then a warrant will be issued immediately. I disconnected the call as soon as I heard that.

Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.

SCAM, called pretending to be Virgin media saying that people were accessing our internet once they started to ask certain questions I became sceptical. I asked why they hadn't gone through the normal security checks and they said they could confirm my internet line which any competent scammer can do and is not the usual security check I told them I would just change my password and they said it would not stop the problem :) so I said if they were genuine they should send me a letter

A recorded call to my mobile informed me of my tax fraud and asked me to press 1 to speak to an HMRC officer. Failure to press 1 would result in an immediate issue of a warrant and my arrest today. The bot then hung up, didn't even say "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Rude little bot!

This is my old phone number, I had it for like 8 years, I can't remember my new phone number, I can only remember this one, I've tried everything to get over this, I can't, in the morning and at night I think of this number. My new phone number means nothing to me, I don't respect it as it doesn't want to be remembered by me, it's been two years now. Man claiming to be from Premier Telecom in Kent. It could very well be fraudulent but if genuine they certainly did not bother to check the telephone preference service register. Best course of action is to ignore all cold calls every time.

Consider it DANGEROUS, if you answer, they know that your number is active, sell your number on, and you will be bombarded, they will log your times on answering and build a profile of you, and eventually you are bait.
