SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. I told him he didn’t know what washing machine I have and I don’t have a warranty on it anyway. He then changed tack and tried flattery, saying that I had a lovely face. This number has called my mobile several times this week (office hours)but no messages have been left. I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. Had over ?3 on my my pay as you go phone but after ringing this number my credit had gone down to ?1.11. DON T TRUST THIS NUMBER AND DEFINATELY DON T PHONE IT!!

I answered the phone and an automated voice said that I had committed tax fraud and that If I did not press 1 to speak to someone about it. I would be arrested shortly. needless to say I hung up.

Got a call from this number at 12:30 pm on 30/07/2021. I answered suspecting it's a scam but they immediately hung up.

Showed up as international call and the voice was a transatlantic male one. He sounded like a recording even though he wasn't, and was very slick - when I corrected him for addressing me by my husband's name he said he was 'a little dyslexic' to try to wrong-foot me. He tried to tell me about a door and window replacement scheme. As he knew my address I asked him to write to me about it - of course he won't!

15 missed calls in 4 days. Even if I was a customer (which I am not) that is harassment.
This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.
Answered the phone but just silence on the other end.
